From spring rides and hikes, to an extra layer on the snow, to everyday wear, the essential fleece earns its name. We chose a fabric with a tough, durable exterior that can handle abrasion, branches, and anything else you can throw at it. The interior is a grid fleece that increases the breathability and the heat retention. Think of the essential fleece as your multi-tool, anywhere you go, at any time of year, it is a great piece to have with you.

Shred Dog NAILS it yet again!

This mid-layer fleece is "AMAZING" according to my 8 year old son. He never feels like he is wearing a coat when he is sporting Shred Dog's mid-layer gear, no matter what style. This is not our first rodeo with Shred Dog so we already know it will wash up remarkably with zero color fading, stains never seem to set in with any of their apparel and, as a single mom, no one can beat Shred Dog's prices and match the quality without being almost double the price! Forget North Face, Patagonia, REI, etc! Shred Dog matches, if not exceeds, their quality for half the price and makes all their gear in the USA! I will never buy anything else for my kiddos!

This fleece jacket is good, lite weight and the kids like to wear it to go camping and nature walk. I especially like the zipper the teeth is large and easy to zip up unlike the other one Elevated Hardshell (Purple) the zipper teeth is so small and it's hard to zip up even for a adult.
