Whether your kid prefers to wear bibs or pants, pair these with one of our hardshell jackets and your kid will want to stay out on the mountain all day. This convertible bib is fully waterproof and breathable to keep kids dry in any conditions. For kids that don’t like wearing bibs, the upper portion of the bib can be removed converting these bibs into pants. Lined with 60 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation throughout to keep kids warm, and reinforced knees and instep, this convertible bib is ready to handle anything your kids, or the mountain, throw at them.

ADJUST-A-FIT

We developed our Adjust-A-Fit System to allow kids to get a bigger size initially, shorten the pant legs for a custom fit, and then extend the pant legs incrementally as they grow. When it is time for a hand-me-down the pant legs can be re-shortened. Other brands have pant legs that only extend by ripping a seam, sacrificing waterproofness in a very exposed area (above the ankle), and cannot be re-shortened for hand-me-downs.

These snowoants are so well made!

I purchased this jacket for my 4 year old. This is the first year we have bought Shred Dog. We have had some pretty cold negative temps, living in Northern Maine, and lots of snow. We are outdoors daily on the homestead. Pros The are cute Reinforced knees A great stretch band with silicone to go over the boot and ensure snow is not going up the pant. Adjustable legs, alothough they are the perfect length for now. So warm, he has never complained about being wet or cold. You can wear them as coveralls or pants, I just think that is the coolest! Cons I measured him and went by chart recommendations, and they are snug. I don't button them bc it's pretty tight. The coverall part on the chest is also VERY snug. The zipper came off in the first week. I needed them and so could not exchange, but his coat covers that part so we are making due. Although I should have called hindsight, because I'll need a new pair come next winter. I will be purchasing for my other children next winter for sure.

Warm & comfy

My son (4yrs old) has not complained about being cold even once while wearing these (we’ve had them for 2 months now and ski every weekend). The zippers are a bit small for small hands so he has trouble putting these on by himself. If they had a pull tag that may help? I ordered size 6 thinking there would be plenty room to grow for next ski season. My son wears size 4T shirts and bottoms. These bibs are quite tight around the midsection. The length is fine (and I love that you can adjust the length). I think we’ll just go without the bib section for next season. The waist of the pants fits fine. Overall, very pleased with the quality! Maybe just order a size up than regularly planned to make sure you have plenty of growing room?

Hey Erin, Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and provide some feedback. We strive to build the absolute best products, and our brand is built on direct input like this from parents and kids. This winter we launched an updated / re-designed version of this pant called the “Elevated Kids’ Bib/Pant” that addresses many of the things you called out. 1) We re-designed the removable bib module to make it easier for kids to put on and off themselves 2) we removed the small zipper on the chest and replaced it with Velcro to make it easier for kids to put on / take off themselves 3) we adjusted the sizing throughout the body and the fit is now much more true to size 3) we added a stretch panel to the back of the bib making them much more comfortable and flexible throughout the midsection 4) we added a button gasket at the bottom of the pants that can be undone and opened up to easily go over boots and then securely buttoned down over the boots. 5) finally, we increased the waterproof rating from 15k/15k to 20k/20k The Unisex Pups Convertible Bib Pant is still an excellent choice for young shredders, and it is less expensive than the Elevated Kids’ Bib/Pant due to all of the upgrades we made. The main purpose of our response here is to acknowledge your feedback and to let you and anyone else reading this review know that we did listen and put this feedback into action for our new product offering. Additionally, we are in the process of launching our SHRED DOG Renewed program. When your kid outgrows the pants you currently have you can trade them in. They will be restored to their original glory, kept out of a landfill, and we will find them a new home where they will continue to be used by kids that want to get outside. Love the Features

Incredible Bib Pants, can't believe all the options to adjust the fit custom to each of my kids. The reinforced knees and option to turn them into pants only are a couple of my favorite features. Shred Dog thought of everything when designing this pant! Keeps my kids warm, dry, and able to stay on the mountain all day.
