"After too many cold, wet days on the mountain in the PNW, we decided to try the Elevated Hardshell and Element Insulator. I'm so glad we did as his second time wearing it was during a horrible wet storm. He was the only child in his group that finished his lesson that day warm and dry. The hood also fits perfectly over his helmet adding another layer of protection against wind, rain, and snow. This gear is amazing and we plan to purchase more soon. "These bibs are awesome. High quality, and the design works for kids. Fabric is durable, seams are taped... the kids will stay warm & dry AND the bib part zips off if you don't want it! SHRED DOG thinks of everything. The bibs are a little long on both of my kids (for now), so I used the inside-length-adjuster-thing (Adjust-A-Fit) and it pulled the legs up to a good length. Overall great bib!"

"My guy has two of the base layers and they are great whether is was 8 degrees at the top of the JH tram or 30 in the Midwest. No way should you spend $120 for a kids smartwool base. Because we liked the Shred Dog products, we picked up a shell last week for Tahoe in March. You guys are doing a great job keeping it affordable for us ski crazy parents."
