A quality, everyday, insulated "puffy" jacket for little kids costs $100 or more from other brands and you still need a ski jacket. We designed our insulators to be that perfect year-round lightweight jacket yet also do double-duty as the insulation layer that zips into our winter hardshells.

2-WAY SLEEVE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT

Rather than sleeves that only extend by ripping a seam and sacrifice waterproofness, our Adjust-A-Fit System allows sleeves to be shortened for a custom fit today, lengthened as kids grow, and then re-shortened for a hand-me-down later.

I purchased this jacket for my 4 year old, with the Shell. This is the first year we have bought Shred Dog. We have had some pretty cold negative temps, living in Northern Maine, and lots of snow. We are outdoors daily on the homestead. Pros: Keeps him warm. Very nice and soft feeling fabric Lightweight feeling. Zips very nicely into the shell. Inside and outside pockets Cons I measured my son before ordering and bought within the chart recommendations. I can still zip it but it does fit pretty snug. I didn't exchange because it was getting closer to winter and we needed it, so now ai will need to purchase a new one soon. The sleeve adjustments are on the inside of the jacket, against the skin. I'm not sure that's too comfortable. I will be purchasing again, only sizing up this time around.

So cute

Perfect fit and very true to size. My son is 5.5 and not a big kid. The 5 fit perfectly so I ordered the 6 - which was a perfect fit before letting down the sleeves. The quality of this item is exceptional.
