All kids handle the cold differently. As they become more acclimated they may not need as much warmth throughout their system as on their first day. That is the beauty of layers. You have everything you need to prevent your kids from getting cold, and you can add or remove layers to keep them comfortable, warm and dry no matter what mother nature has in mind.
